Experience in buying a Volkswagen Vento - Less Car for More Money

Overall Experience: Pathetic It has been 6 months since I had booked my VW Vento, I was promised 5 month delivery time. I am not sure yet how long its going to take from here and not receiving any updates from dealer. The attitude of the customer service is pathetic they don't even call you for any updates, I dislike their false commitment but ready to siphon your money. Also in June there was a statement from Volkswagen saying that there will be no price increase for bookings before 30th june 2011, but now when I called up the customer service they say the price has gone up by some 80K or 90K. If asked for explanation no proper explanation was given.  My logical question is when overall car sales is down for june and july and companies like Maruthi, Hyundai, Honda etc are coming up with incentives and various schemes. Why Volkswagen is acting like they can fleece the customer? May be because people are waiting in the queue for months and they will be ready to pay any hikes with no proper explanation from the dealer or Volkswagen.  SORRY boss if that's what your attitude is then I am not your customer. As cars like new Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Fluidic Verna, Honda City have better features than Volkswagen Vento in the same category and they are ready to cater their customers better. So please beware you have already lost one customer with the continuation of the same attitude the brand name will not carry you for too long.
