Pros : German Engineering & Safety

Cons : Petrol Consumption, Pick up less

Look and Style- Looks are smart , Finishing i solid from inside out. Some neat features are Security sensors, Reverse Sensors are slick if you buy them as extras Comfort- Seating & Seat adjustments are perfect. Am migrating from a Honda City ZXi to the Vento- These seats are perfect & if you buy the leather covers (totally worth the 20K) will make it the most comfortable seating. Add to that the lever to adjust the front  seat from behind. Ground clearance much better than Honda.  Pickup - A shade inferior to the Hinda City even the DSi engine. Bet the new iVTEC is even better than the VENTO. Also the gear ratios on the honda were excelletn - nerve knocked even while driving in 3rd gear at a slower speed.  Mileage- Shad epoorer than the Honda tho I have had the car for only a week so far  Best Features- Safety - The remote is awesome - I can open & Shut the windows or open the boot with my Remote - Pity cant close the boot with it Needs to improve- Engine pick up & petrol consumption Overall Experience- Satisf, Value for money - The highline is at least 75K cheaper & you still get a class car.

Dear User, We would recommend you if you are looking for a petrol vehicle you can opt for Honda City 1.5 and if you are opting for a diesel vehicle you can opt for Hyundai Verna. Thanks

why sir, what about vento diesel trend line-- 9.3l( mr somraj is asking value for money), it is far better than hondacity or verna... good refined 1.6 diesel engine with very good pickup, high fuel efficiency in highways 20 and in city 16..striking VW looks, riding quality and supension, leg room, rear ac vent,6years anti corsive warranty......I think vento disel trendline is value for money for 9.3 lakhs.........

Sir, We have a budget range of 8-8.5 lakhs. We want to buy a good sedan segment in Delhi within a month. I have short listed a few and those are VENTO, Honda city iv tech, Verna , toyota etios. Could you please suggest which one should i go for out of these or could you suggest some other good one?? And what do you say about toyota innova?

mr piyush...my choice for you is vento trendline disel, you may get within one month, due to pickup and other great aspects but spend another 70k

Dear Piyush, I have been studying these cars as an engineer and as a buyer. I have realised that there is no match for Verna at present. The things to check are engine performance, after sales, spares cost, dealer network, power by weight ratio (v imp for city drive), and of course value for money. In all this verna scores above the rest. VW is a new entrant. Probably after 3-4 yrs they would be a good buy when they have a better dealer network. Not now. Others that you have mentioned are not value for money. Thanks.

Which one is better.. Volkswagen Diesel Trendline or Highline??

    Rahul C. |21 Mar,2011 02:47:25 PM

Volkwagen Diesel Highline is excellent. I just got my car a week before and I really like it. Its worth the money I gave.
