VW Polo : The best word to describe this hatch

I bought my White VW POLO in early 2012 as i was taken away by the test drive of its diesel variant. Early in 2012 the only real competitor of this hatch was i20 (with more punch,but the styling was outdated) & swift (great zip & power but was not a big fan of Maruti cars). The first thing which impressed me was the build quality of the car & its classy interiors. I bought the comfortline model which did not had any music system or EBD or air bags which was a bit disappointment. But yeah the handling & drive was fun as car is pretty responsive, the only problem I felt was a bit of turbo lag. The real power kicks in after the early 2000 rpm. But keeping all these things aside you always had the feel you are driving a premium car. Now talking about space & seating comfort, I had a family of 4 & it is quite spacious car for a family of 4 or 5. The driver & co-driver seats are quite spacious & comfortable with manual seat adjustment. The back seats space seats are just ample( there would be some problem with the leg room for a person with height above 6 ft).The boot space is really amazing with a 294 liter boot which can practically fit anything. Now I have driven this car for over 4 years & have clocked close to 80,000 kms with a mix of city drive & long drives, i could proudly say it has been great experience driving the car. It still feels the same as the diesel engine hasn't shown any signs of wear & tear. The only downside has been expensive servicing & spares, which the company has to look into as they now have a very spread out network in India. Nevertheless at the premium hatch price point it ticks all the boxes & VW have been bringing more sportier & meaner GT & GTI with humongous power under the same brand name & would love to drive those next.
