Overall view:-The Volkswegan Polo 2013 model is very sluggish vehicle. Its good for those people who don't want speed and pick up. Its good car but pick up is very poor. It doe's not give feel to ride good German car. The Engine makes noise when we cruise to more than 2000 rpm in short gear. If we want speed in quick, we need to raise RPM and then you get good speed. The Build quality is good, road presence is also good. The cabin is very short and it does not feel spacious. The Polo should increase length to give more space. Back side raw is very narrow. My height is 6ft so its really difficult to sit for long ride. Generally this car is for only 2 person. The Boot space is good enough for 2 adult family members. Polo's build quality is good. Features:-In the comfort line model, the feature is also very less. Basic Music system, no airbag, no Electronic Break Assist. You will get tired if you drive for more than 4 to 5 hours as engine is sluggish in pick up. This car will not help to go for mountain ride or night out.Also, It does not come with Camera, rear parking censors so it disadvantage over other car. Ride Quality:-The clutch is little harder and you will feel tired in city ride for change / shifting gears many times. Now a days, in city like Ahmedabad, traffic is one of the Problem to reach office. I would not recommend to buy the 2013 Polo model. Color of Car:-Yes the Red Color car looks very nice and sporty as well. Other than Red, white is good color to buy in Polo. Maintenance:-I generally drive 66 km per day to and fro to commute my office which is very tired some to shift gears. I have run more than 42000 km with this car and it ok for first car purchase. I spend about INR 52,000 approx towards service cost with 4 yearly service. One thing is good that it require services once in year or 15k km which ever is earlier. This help us to save cost and time and it become low Maintenance car. Mileage:-This car give about 15 to 16 kmph on high way and city 12 to 13 kmph. If you are too mileage oriented person, you should not go for this car. Final Verdict:- The vw polo is basic simple city car for small family. Mainly this type of car helps senior citizen in city drive due to its sluggish engine at initial level. I purchased the car because i get good review from my friend but He & his family is very short so its good for them but its not good for my family as we are all having good height at 5.9 to 6.0ft. Even my friend is not able to identify the pick up issue. He drives very slow and up to 80kmph so he is very happy. I need pick and speed when i drive so my opinion is not to go for this car. I heard about New polo that vw has increase speed and pick with 90ps of Power. The old model has 73ps of power with 230 nm torque. I think more than 100ps is required with New Road quality and highways to move very quickly. So now i feel polo is not good car for me. I will think to buy either vw Vento or City.
