It is an amazing car in the premium hatchback section featuring a good looking exterior with no funky and flashy design elements. It offers one-touch buttons for all its power windows, which is not present in most of the hatchbacks. It is a well-built solid European hatchback and its suspension setup is ideal for Indian roads. Inside, the most noticeable change in my face-lifted model is the all-new flat-bottomed steering wheel, wrapped in leather.
Where you appreciate the Polo the most is on the move. Find a decent stretch of a road, push the car and it is more than happy to go. Dynamically, it is quite sorted. Push the car into a high-speed corner and the roll is minimal. The ride is on a firmer side, but the car feels planted on the road at triple digit speeds. The steering is a bit heavy, but all of this manage to give the Polo a big car feel as the speed builds up.
