Tata Tigor Rivaling Strongly Against Established Brands

Tata Motors has been going through revolutionary changes in the past few years. After launching a series of new-gen cars, the automaker has come up with yet another value for money car named Tigor in the sub-continent. Recently, I was looking at the sales numbers and was surprised to see how Tigor was fastly catching up with cars such as Honda Amaze and Ford Aspire. The vehicle marks as the third sub 4-meter subcompact sedan from the homegrown car manufacturer. The wheels are finally started to spin for Tata, as the popular Impact design philosophy is finally bearing some positive result for the car maker. With such consistent products being launched, Tata aims to be the number 3 player on the sales charts. Tata Tigor can be said as the compact sedan version of the Tata Tiago hatchback, the front profile is very similar but the distinction can be made from nicer radiator grille along with hexagonal design and the twin barrel headlamps with projector low beams providing the car with much-needed appearance. It?s the rear that makes much of the difference. Without any doubt, Tigor is the prettiest and well-balanced sub 4-meter sedan in the country. Interiors too are well adorned, the dashboard looks quite same as we have seen in Tiago but in Tigor, there is a boatload of extra gadgets. It has AC vents, touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Climate Control among others. Performance wise, Tata Tigor is powered by the same 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol mill and 1.05L Revotroq engine working in Tiago. Overall, Tata Tigor is a good looking car with needed style, perfect interiors, decent fuel efficiency, and seems certainly a value for money car. This is especially crucial looking at the stern competition in the segment where there is a plethora of choices like Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Ford Aspire, and Volkswagen Vento in the segment. It is significantly cheaper (starts at just Rs. 4.70 lakhs) than the competition and has a plush cabin. It is certainly a car that is genuinely rivaling the established brand.
