I have the tiago xz model which is the top end variant. Incidentally more than 50% of the bookings were for this variant. Tata has certainly upped its game to take on the traditional small car behemoth of maruti in india. prospective buyers will surely benefit from this post. I would be covering driving performance, ownership experience, comfort and other features. performance. This new 3 cylinder engine does not disappoint. Its 83 bhp comparable on paper with swift or i20 does not translate into real road parity. 0-60 pick up I feel slow in this car. However 60- 100 km/hr pick up is brilliant when the engine power picks up. It makes overtaking a breeze and a fun to drive car. the drive modes of eco and city exists. but mosty drive in the city mode. According to me tiago eco mode is similar to indica pick up, so generally avoid it. I have not gone beyond 110 km/hr however it is advisable to not go beyond 120 in such small cars ABS braking corner stability adds value for money and is not available in most competitors and even higher priced model. looks Tiago xz is visual treat. with alloys,wiser rear wiper looks fully loaded. For example it looks more up market than honda jazz v model( costing 2.5 lakhs more than the tiago. this jazz has neither rear wiper or alloy wheels) The interiors are pleasing but quality could be an issue. my locks plastics sort of popped out before it was fixed. Fuel consumption: an average 12-13 km per litre is achievable with AC on and in congested traffic driving. Claimed ARAI mileage figures seem like an eyewash like other cars. Dealer satisfaction: I am happy with customer service and dealer service. my car repairs are attended to quickly. Customers can expect improved tata customer service. Space inside: 5 people can sit cramped. the front seats get locked sometimes making it difficult to adjust. My rear door cannot be opened from inside and has to be opened from outside. this happening in less than a tear of purchase is irritating. Despite its flaws I am happy to bought tiago xz for its value for money.
