A Bang For The Buck

Tata cars have always been popular for the long-term problems that they give to their owners. And unfortunately, I have been one of those customers as well. I owned a TATA Indica DLS from 2007-2011, and apart from the first couple of years, the last 2 years I spent with my Indica were not good by any means. The starter always had issues, the AC would run out of the cooling gas every two months or so, and believe it or not I changed the car battery twice in 2010 because of an alternator that won't charge the battery no matter what. At last, I gave up and sold it for peanuts. Bought a second hand Swift and was very happy with it until I felt the need of getting a new car. I, with full confidence, decided to go for the new Swift again. But the VXI which I liked was overpriced in my personal opinion. I then tried a few other cars out like the Grand i10, the Kwid, and the Datsun Go. And on the suggestion of a close friend, I with no interest tried out the Tiago. And boy it did surprise me. The build quality was amazing for the price and the features offered made it bang for the buck car. The new engine seemed way better than the Indica engine. Still skeptical, I did a lot of research and after a lot of test drives and questionnaires with Tiago owners, I bought the new Tiago. It has been 10 months with the Tiago and it hasn't troubled me once. Tata has really upped its game.
