I have recently purchased the new Tata Nexon after analyzing so many other cars that are available in the market with the same price bracket. The roof rails, black plastic cladding, muscular bumpers with black inserts, wheel arches, and wide tyres along with large wheels makes it a perfect SUV. In terms of the cabin, Tata has really put a lot of thought process to the design, the interior looks plush with the use of good quality plastic. Another highlight is the 6.5-inch touchscreen unit that gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The system is powered by 8 speaker Harman audio setup. Other comfort features in the car include climate control, keyless entry and push start/stop button. Space has always been Tata?s forte and Nexon is no exception, it has a clear advantage over Ford EcoSport in terms of space. I chose the petrol engine since I feel nauseated in diesel-powered cars. Nexon features 1.2L petrol mill that produces 108bhp/170Nm with the option of 6-speed manual gearbox and automated manual transmission. Overall, the solid build construction, spacious cabin, powerful engines, premium features and balanced road manners, all have helped this car carve its own niche in the segment. Currently, Nexon is giving tight noose competition to Ford EcoSport with average monthly sales of 4,500 units.
