In the beginning of this year, I bought the e series of Tata Indigo CS. On its first look, the new Tata Indigo eCS throws an appearance of a compact sedan. The front is dominated by the headlamps and big bonnet with in-built turn indicators inside the headlamp units. Comfort: Though from the outside the new Indigo eCS looks like a compact sedan but when it comes to comfort it is not less than any other sedan. The car has an ergonomic seating for five persons with comfortable head rest at both rear and front. Pickup: The sedan offers a decent pick up to me. This diesel variant of the new Tata Indigo eCS sprints to the speed of 100 kmph in very few seconds. Mileage: Being powered by a diesel engine the new Tata Indigo eCS delivers a city mileage of 12.6 kmpl and 17.3 kmpl on the highways. Best Features: The features that I like the most in this diesel variant is its looks. Further, the mileage offered by this variant is great that makes it pocket-friendly to me in the era where the petrol prices are at the sky. Needs to improve: The area where I think Tata has to look is the poor maintenance and service. I never satisfied with the service provided by the Tata. In addition to it, the only thing that irritates me is that the engine is a little bit noisy but not too much. Overall Experience: Based on my one-year driving experience I think this new compact sedan is not a bad option. Though there are many other options are available in the market but choosing a Tata Indigo CS is value for money.
