As always, this year's Geneva Motor Show has been fascinating for the auto enthusiasts. The homegrown automaker Tata Motors also made a rocking presence at the auto show by pulling a rabbit out of the hat in the form of E-Vision Concept. Past 3-4 years, Tata?s R&D team is going gaga on making new and stylish vehicles to cater the Indian mass market. But this time around, a prototype has been made to serve a special purpose. Yes, the E-Vision Concept sedan is an all-electric vehicle made on an all-new platform on which future electric cars from Tata brand would be based. This is a groundbreaking move from the company as electric car manufacturing is currently in its nascent stage. And mind it, this is not a compact sedan, but a full-fledged sedan with Tata's latest Impact 2.0 design philosophy. This car could be an insight into the future of Tata's vehicles. The premium looking vehicle features a sleek design with brushed aluminum known as Humanity Line across the body. The glass roof with a unique pattern is something never seen like before. The elegant exterior styling complements the aura inside the cabin. The interiors feature multi-layered dashboard with premium looking dual beige and wood theme. And let me tell you what makes this car ?premium, frameless doors, powered front seats, horizontally protruding infotainment system and a host of advanced driver assistance system. The carmaker hasn't revealed all the cards about the powertrain except that it can make 0-100kmph sprint in less than 7 seconds of time and reach the top speed of 200kmph. It is still not known whether Tata would introduce this car in the dying for electric car market like India, but if it does, then note it down, it will be a revolutionary vehicle.
