I am driving a vRS which was a perfect choice for myself as I love speed. It is tough to get similar power at this price point. A similar power of 170 bhp in the petrol engine is available only on high-end luxury cars. Regarding driving experience, I have driven the car for 1000 km on a single stretch without any issue ( including few tea breaks in the middle). It is really fun to drive Skoda and driver enjoys it most. Good leg room and boot space give really great comfort to passengers. It is not a city driving car, but if you don't have much traffic on the way to the office then you can still use the car every day. It is not so much fun to drive the car in busy traffic as TSI engine does not enjoy such busy roads. But at the same time, excellent power can help you to cruise through busy traffic and cover the distance faster than other cars. It is really good in handling and overtaking. So enjoy the car at busy roads also at times. If you are looking for every feature of a luxury car, then you might be little disappointed but I believe that latest model has all the excellent features. For example, automatic climate control, cruise control kind of features are not available in my vRS model which is a little disappointment. On the positive side, it has nice music system and speakers/tuners which are fun. Next topic is about maintenance. Maintenance is, of course, expensive as the car gets older. You will not experience much maintenance work till 5 years or 50,000 km of the car so it is not a big problem. After 50,000 km, the car needs regular part replacement but the cost can be little higher than other brands. So if you are looking to change your car, then plan accordingly. The Sunroof is a quite useful with kids as they enjoy it at times and even adults enjoy it at times. So choose right variant while buying your new car. It is not a must for a car, but it adds a lot of beauty to the car and looks great. I also love the turning radius of this car. I am able to park this car so easily in tough times with less turning radius. So as a driver, I feel the lot comfortable to park the car in my crunchy parking space of the apartment. Of course, parking sensors are really helpful. In addition, turning lights help while driving in hills in the night. It also has daytime running lights which make it beautiful on the road. Headlights are curvy with excellent vision quality in the night. I will really recommend this car for executives, speed lovers, long drive lovers and everyone who is planning to buy a car around 20-25 lacs price segment. There is no other car comparable in Sedan segment around that price point. So no need to think much if you are planning to buy the Skoda Octavia. Go for it and Enjoy driving.
