Hi guys, I own 2 cars i.e. a kwid & an elite i20 & i use my kwid for daily usage, so today I will be sharing my opinion about the kwid with you all. I wanted an automatic transmission car & I liked kwid a lot & when I came to know that its AMT variant is available I purchased it in december & I loved it & after a month of usage I would like to share my experience. I bought the automatic variant & it is extremely comfortable to drive & overall I am happy with my decision of choosing the kwid. I will share many good things & some bad bits (which I think are 1 or 2) about this car. Mainly my reason to purchase it was a comfort, easy handling, high ground clearance, looks & the AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. What I mainly liked about this car was its premium interiors & the comfort & the bad bit is its mileage. It is giving roughly a mileage of 14 KM (APPROXIMATELY) & car needs a lot of power when the air conditioner is switched on. PERFORMANCE It is powered by a 999 CC 3 cylinder gasoline engine with 4 valves per cylinder & producing a power of 67 bhp @ 5500 RPM & torque 91 Nm @ 4250 RPM. Well these are the numerical values & I have taken it to a maximum speed of 119 KM/H with air conditioner switched on & 128 KM/H with air conditioner switched off. It gives a mileage of approximately 14 KM in the city & till now I have not tested on the highway. One more thing that I disliked was that when you suddenly accelerate the car it makes a lot of vibrations. LOOKS: (1) EXTERIOR It has got great looks it is a small hatchback but due to high ground clearance, it looks like a SUV. The wheel caps suits the red color a lot. Also, the racing flag themed side protectors add a much sportier look to it. The side view mirrors are of a silver color which looks great. The front grill looks great but I think that they should have used chrome in it. Overall I am happy with its exteriors. (2) INTERIORS Its interior is awesome I seriously love it the dashboard looks so beautiful due to the black piano finish in the center console & the digital speedometer. Also since it is not single tone so the cabin looks quite airy. The chrome garnished gear knob looks very beautiful & both the air vents on the corners of the dashboard make it look much beautiful. Now moving towards the seats the seats are made of red, black & gray color which looks very sporty & the foot mats are also of black & red color which suits the interior a lot. INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM-Kwid is the only car in its price range which comes with a large touch screen infotainment system. It is very nice & also has the feature of navigation in it. It is also having AUX port USB port & Bluetooth connectivity. Overall it is nice package. COMFORT- kwid is quite comfortable the seats are quite soft & the thigh support is also great. The height of steering wheel is absolutely perfect giving a great visibility. Now moving towards the back seats the inclination angle is good giving more comfort & at the back seats also thigh support is great but there is no armrest at the back seat which is a bad part. It also has great suspension which does not let the passenger feel little bumps on road. But overall its good in comfort. STORAGE-According to its size & with comparison to its competitors it has got huge amount of storage space. It has boot capacity of 300 liters & that also well designed, it can accommodate 2 medium suitcases & 1 large bag very easily. now moving towards the main cabin its cabin is quite spacious. It has got 2 bottle holders in the front door, in the dashboard, there are 2 big drawers which are quite spacious & designed practically also since in the AMT variant the gear knob's place has been changed so there also storage space has increased. In terms of space management, I would like to give 5 stars. MY FINAL VERDICT-Overall it is a well-packaged car & it fulfills all my requirements & I am happy with my decision of purchasing kwid AMT. It is a perfect car for a local drive with low maintenance cost & with good mileage. There is very less waiting for this car & after sales support is also great. It has almost all features like bluetooth, touch display etc. & my last & final opinion is that for a local drive you must go for it. ##THANK YOU##
