Pros : Suspension, Brakes, the AWD switchover comfort, Nav Aid

Cons : No Rear a/c

So, the Renault Duster RxZ 4x4 version AWD is all driven and tested. Three words... l loved it. There is this beautiful kick-ass feeling while driving this beauty. Fully loaded beauty. The New Scorpio can go hide in a corner. There is no way they are going to take a chunk out of this babe's market. Smooth, comfortable drive. The suspension is sexy as hell and the braking responds beautifully. No roll...and that's a big deal. Stable on the curves even on the 6th gear. The turning radius is nice and tight and with Vizag roads ridden with some very nasty speed breakers, the ground clearance is a big plus. It has a good Display for NavAid (and the dame's voice is nice too) and Music with USB port, Radio, and Aux. (You can also set about 8 phones on Bluetooth I am told. I haven't tested that.) You have cruise control settings and a speed control lock setting as well. Lot's of useful info for reference. I can see this one doing a safe OTR Rally with pleasure. The electronic side view mirror adjustment button rests at the center just below the hand brake. Volume control is nicely tucked way out of the view just below the steering to the right. The seating is very comfortable. With a bad back and as sensitive as mine, sitting and driving was really a pleasure. Good quality finishes, great leg space. I like the smooth transition you can make from 2WD to can also leave it on the Auto Mode and the car switches to the required mode based on road conditions. The downside...the rear seats have no separate A/C vent but the air-conditioning is effective so one doesn't miss it much. For those not used to having the lights controls in the right side, it might take some getting used to. Overall I'd give this one a 4.5/5 - it loses points only because of a lack of rear a/c - in a place like Vizag it's not a necessity but in an SUV that big in Rajasthan, it becomes a basic requirement. One sexy ride. Yes!
