Good car but not meant for India

Look and Style: The car looks very good, in fact best in class above its competitors. Front seat comfort is superb but there is scope to improve rear seat comfort. A bit higher sitting position with little more lumbar support will give more comfort. Pickup is not as expected, initially you need to pull a bit, it's smooth once you crosses 60km. Mileage is good compared to the size of car and engine. Highest mileage I could achieve is 12kmpl. Merc needs to improve on AC, specially on rear seat. It's not designed for Indian summers. Fan is very much noisy and keeps running on high speed in auto mode trying to cool the cabin. But poor AC fails in the heat, the most pathetic part of story are the wheels. They are not at all designed for Indian Roads, we cannot change the roads they are as they are, a high tech auto co. like Mercedes cannot design its wheels suitable for Indian Road conditions. I wonder how do a company like Toyota manages it and Merc fails. 3 out of my 4 wheels are cracked and as far as I know it's same with all owners. More than that Mercedes is not agreeing to it and not covering them under warranty. Overall Experience: Not good, buying this car in India is just a status symbol it is not worth it's price and not at all practical. Its just a novelty to showcase in you porch.
