Good car certainly not the best

I drove ZDi+ variant of Brezza. I liked exterior looks. I found car to be good in terms of power (not excellent), space inside the cabin. Engine is tuned more towards driveability rather than performance. There is some amount of turbo lag while not to be worried a lot by those who do not have highest preference towards performance. There is a bit of engine noise inside even when the engine is idle, when accelerated the noise is prominent. Mileage seems to be good but have not measured calculated it. Suspension seems to be a bit hard, looks to be tuned more for highway driving. In cities at lower speeds backseaters will be able to feel bad roads especially the ones in Bangalore. I don't like interiors so much, especially the lower end models where interior looks very plain. icreate option introduced by Maruti gives options to customise the car with additional accessories. This provides options to beautify the interiors and exteriors. In terms of safety all the variants have the option of dual air bags, which is becoming a norm in India (a good sign). Many of the features are missing in lower end models, only ZDi has good amount of features. Baleno middle variants provide many more features. Improvements: Noise insulation, suspension should be softer (individual choice though), interiors, Backseat thigh support could have been better Drawbacks: Only diesel variant available petrol version is yet to be announced. The car has a very long waiting period of 6 months, which is big turn off. I had to think twice before buying it.
