Pros : Low maintainence required, superb driving comfort
Cons : Right view blocked
I bought a Maruti SX4 6 months back and have been utterly satisfied with the performance of the car. The car can be compared to Hyundai Verna and Honda City, both of which are priced higher and offer similar features as offered by SX4. This is a perfect choice for the customers who do not intend to shell out exorbitant amount of money and yet feel the pleasure of driving a sedan. The riding comfort of the car is simply superb as the car remains absolutely stable even at a high speed of 150 kmph. The broad tyres of the car offers an effective grip on roads and the braking system is trustworthy. As far as the looks of the car are concerned, it sports decent aerodynamic look which can certainly be improved further. I just felt that the pillar design towards the right of the car is a bit faulty as it restricts the vision for the driver. The height of the car is really good and makes one feel really proud sitting in the car especially on signals. I get a mileage of around 14kmpl in city areas that too with AC turned on all the time. One area that is assured of least expectations is that of maintenance cost. All Maruti Suzuki cars require a low maintenance and thus reduce the overall running expenditure. Thus, except the right view of the car being blocked by the pillar the car has no cons as such and is a superb buying decision.
