Hi team , i am so much happy Maruti Suzuki had introduced the mid-life update of the second-generation Swift in the country in October 2014. The facelifted version came with subtle aesthetic improvements along with a few additional features such as push-button engine start-stop, reverse parking sensors, electronically foldable outside rear-view mirrors, Bluetooth phone integration, and others over the previous version. And it also came with a new upholstery. Mechanically, the Swift's fuel efficiency was improved by 10 per cent with the mid-life update and, to deliver it, its existing (1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel) engines were tweaked slightly. After the introduction of the facelift, over the course of two years, Maruti has come up with a few special editions of the Swift, and the last one was the Swift Deca. The Swift is due for a generation change and the brochure of the upcoming 2017 Swift's Japanese version has been leaked online. It retains the design of its predecessors and will share its platform with the Baleno along with Suzuki's new 1.0-Litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol motor. Speaking of its Indian debut, we expect that Suzuki will launch the 2017 Swift around the festive season next year in the country. New, India-bound, Maruti Suzuki Swift was launched in Japan. It is expected to go on sale in India in the later half of 2017
