I have been a fan of the Maruti Suzuki Swift since forever. And finally, in the latter half of 2017, I planned to purchase the hatchback. Just then, the new Swift started leaking everywhere. The rumours of the new Swift coming to India soon forced me to wait a little more. The looks of the 3rd generation Swift just had my heart. But what I was disappointed with was that the European and markets got the new Swift before us. Eventually, the wait was worth it. With 2018 came the new Swift. I pre-booked the car and finally had it in my garage. The engine is still the same so no doubts about the performance. The interior is new and feels very sporty & premium. The flat-bottom steering wheel gives the feel of a sports car. The touchscreen display is of high quality and I really enjoy while driving the Swift.
