Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDI is the mid-range diesel variant in the range. This one has all the features, which were seen in LDI variant, but apart from this, there are many things that ensure much more comfortable ride in the compact sedan. The beautiful looking car featuring best diesel engine, whose mileage will put a smile on your face. On the other hand, the exteriors are as gorgeous as you can expect it to be. Maruti was well-aware of the competition coming from Toyota Etios, Renault Scala etc, Swift DZire VDI was made strong and highly competitive. Exterior:- One look to DZire VDI and you know that you want this beauty in your garage. The car is an appealing piece of engineering incorporated with hints of chrome hither and thither. The front of the car proudly features clear headlamps huddle with turn indicators. The Suzuki Logo is placed on the grille that shines brightly from a distance. The side profile has body colored door handles and ORVMs. The wheel arches are nicely done keeping in mind the overall guise of the car. The boot lid has the chrome bar that divides itself into two. Interior:- On the inside, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDI comes with top-notch interiors. The material used is of high quality. The lush upholstery for the seats makes it further more comfortable. The comfort level is augmented with varied features. the highlights here include in powerful air conditioning system with heater, power steering wheel, power windows, plenty of boot space, ample of legroom and headroom for all, armrests for the rear seat passengers, cup holders, 12V power socket and a fine music system. Engine:- Under the bonnet, the 1.3-Litre DDiS diesel engine steals the show. This 1248cc engine is very brawny and has the ability to churn out its maximum power accompanied by 190Nm of maximum torque. Driving this car makes my soul relaxed. Mileage:- Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDI doesn't?t compromise in this department I mean never...The very fuel efficient 1.3-Litre DDiS diesel engine is very proficient and comfortably delivers 23.5kmpl of mileage when driven at a constant speed...but in cities, we can say the mileage goes down to near about 17-18kmpl but this is also fine... Braking:- Tho the brakes are not ABS but it just slows down your car instantly when applied. Safety:- In the matter of safety, it's just excellent...it has low fuel indicator lamp, key on reminder, seat belt reminder,door ajar warning,fog lamps and seat belts for all passengers.   Performance & Handling:- The performance of Maruti Swift DZire VDI on road is excellent. The adjustable power steering combined with superb suspension system makes certain that the handling of the car is easy and totally soothing.   Final Verdict:- Maruti Swift DZire VDI has nothing more to offer in it's segment...in terms of looks,performance,handling,engine,stereo all are at its best..although there are many more cars in its range but as Maruti is best known for cheap but best...if you look on the price....then sure you have a lot more better options!!!
