Maruti Alto is a better small car then Maruti 800 in performance as well as in comfort. I just purchased Maruti Alto after selling my 4 year old Maruti 800. Although the engine of both of the car is of same power but Alto has a new design and comfortable seating arrangement which is better then Maruti 800. second thing is that driver's seat is more comfortable in Maruti Alto. a six feet Tall person can sit comfortably in this car. Interiors of the Maruti Alto are although has a simple design but they are more attractive then Maruti 800's interiors. So if you are going to buy a car within this range you should choose Alto rather then 800.
