In this segment, in India ,plenty of car manufacturers used to perform in this segment. The Alto is leading the compact hatchback segment. Leading is not only in terms of the brand but in terms of quality and performance. Some of the features that I liked are as follows: - Smooth Gear changing facility - Grip Steering control - Driving view, in terms of front & rear clearance - Very Good for riding in hilly areas The K10 is a premium version of the Alto but it doesn't have many extra features as I expected like Bluetooth is missing and audio sound quality is just average. There is no adjustable headrest although rear seat knee room is better than the previous model. The dashboard design is combined with light fabrics, brakes perform well but it should also be offered with ABS for better safety. The K10 has more powerful engine than previous models, better pick-up and high power to weight ratio. The structural strength is not very solid so it is not a highway car. Maruti has tuned the gearbox quite well, and the throttle response is good . Three spoke steering is nice to hold.The K10 has a good top speed due to its low kerb weight. The NVH levels are good in mid range, engine runs smooth in mid range.
