In the midst of Chennai metropolitan heavy traffic during peak hours, a car which can sail through any gap was the need of the hour, when I looked for a new car with my budget. After a lot of reviews of many cars in the respective websites and after a long study and comparison Maruti won the heart in terms of mileage, pickup, speed and economy. Riding is comfortable. It can adjust to five and once we were 7 adult and one kid and we travelled a good distance and it wasn't a problem. As for the maintenance, it is highly economic and even after four full years, it is still a zero maintenance. Only two times normal service per year was made. During normal peak hours, the car can move around any space and we can reach our destination, our office within a reasonable time compared to heavy vehicle or SUVs. The car is affordable to even an ordinary middle class with a budgeted income. You can easily use it for any kind of purpose right from going to the office, even for a short distance like a bike to purchase. For India, half of the population is middle-income group and Maruti Alto K10 fit in this for their family.
