I have a Ford IKON, a Figo also i used to own a Chevrolet UVA. I purchased the Alto 800 only twenty five days from today for City use. And now even before 1 month of ownership, I Had to stop in the highway at night because the car started overheating. Opened up the hood and saw there was literally no coolant at all. Next day at a nearby "authorized service center" they say the water pump is damaged, but they can't repair it because my car is under warranty.? I had to tow my 25 days old car 50kms to the showroom service center to claim my warranty. Next thing they tell me is "oh this is common problem of maruti 800, this will keep happening!".. what is the meaning of this?.. I feel like I bought a delicate Chinese product in some shady shop. Was planning to buy the new Swift as well for my wife but now I have completely cancelled that idea. My initial trust is maruti is shattered like a broken mirror. This is the first and last maruti car I will every buy.
