An excellent car for small family.

I have recently purchased a Maruti Alto 800 Lxi CNG for my wife. She drives this car daily to her office about 28 km from home. the driving pleasure is excellent. Seats are comfortable even though they are little small in size.Easy to control. the power steering is too good. Air conditioning is far better than its rivals in the same category. more leg room in the cabin. even a person like me with height of 6 ft can comfortably sit on the rear seat. The running cost on CNG is mere 1.40 rs per Km. its even cheaper than two wheeler. Only thing is that you will not get boot space if you go for CNG version. But in city drive you don't require this. overall performance of the vehicle is far beyond expectation and certainly Alto 800 is the best car in its class. Alto 800 has a decent look. Good length, width & height ratio. This one has ORVM on the left side too which was missing in its earlier Alto and 800 versions. My advise to any one who plans to buy a CNG car is that always go for a company fitted one instead of retro fitting since its not safe as that of a company fitted CNG kit. the acceleration of the vehicle is amazing. you cant feel any difference in pick up when you drive it in Petrol and CNG. Even in a speed of 120 km the vehicle does not wobble. And the same with braking too. The sudden braking does not make the vehicle skid a little. Engine performance is very good. in cabin noise is as good as nil. Maruti has applied a good mind in the interiors. The plastic quality is much good in its class. Dual tone interior with fabric is elegantly amalgamated on the inside of doors gives a premium look to the vehicle. If the front seat surface had little more inclination towards upward definitely would have given much more comfort. Also rear parcel tray could have been provided in in CNG version. but with the existing facilities itself this car outsmarts its rivals. Overall areal value for money car.
