The moment I purchased XUV 500, it was like my dream come true. It is a long story . I purchased Toyota Etios cross in 2014. There the salesman introduced the vehicle to be an SUV. At that time I was not aware of the features of an SUV. After nearly 3 months, when I had to go on a long ride , I realised that it was not the vehicle which I was looking for . The boot space was very less. The thought that I had purchased a wrong vehicle started troubling me . In the meanwhile , I went with my friend to the Mahindra showroom as he was interested in buying a new vehicle . The moment I saw XUV 500 , I said wow. On seeing XUV 500 , I had a feeling that the vehicle must be very expensive . The salesman in the showroom beautifully described all the features. Every feature was attractive. Whether it was the comfort , performance or safety, the manufacturer had not compromised in anything. After few hesitation, I asked the salesman its price ( as I was expecting it to be above 25 lacs) , But when he told me the price I jumped excitedly. To my disbelief, it was under 15 lacs. On that day I just became the fan of the Mahindra XUV 500 and it became my dream car. With real effort and loss, I sold my Etios cross on OLX and purchased the new XUV 500 with better features than the old model . I purchased XUV 500 W10 variant with front wheel drive. The new model comes with an electrical sunroof which proved to me a special advantage because I love photography and I find it easier to take photos through sunroof without getting out of the car . My children also enjoyed the sun roof a lot . The push start button is also a new feature which has been introduced in the latest version . The Logo projection lamp on ORVMs looks beautiful, especially in the dark. The vehicle becomes a source of attraction on the road due to its logo lamp. The keyless entry is also one of the WOW factors among many other . The cruise control proves helpful especially on highways, just set the speed and forget accelerator. There are other features also such as hill descent which is helpful on hills which prevent you from rolling down. In short, I must say that the Mahindra XUV 500 is beyond expectation at a very reasonable price . I am very happy with my vehicle and have shared my experience so that many people can enjoy this beautiful racing machine.
