My first car

So this was my first car. As a fresh engineer working in the biggest private sector in the country, after saving some funds i decided to go for my first car. Choosing the right car for me was the hardest part.There was so much options available. After trying all of them decided to go for Elite i20 Petrol Asta. Now when i look back i never regret about my decision. So lets jump into the review Looks- Though it is subjective you will never find anyone (be it your friend , family, cousins) complaining about its looks. Seriously it looks gorgeous. The fluid design , the DRL, the SUV like back all just looks very modern and pretty. Comfort- The suspension setup is pretty good. You dont need to worry about small potholes on the road. Both on highway and city the car will give you best in class comfort Interior- This may be the best thing buying a i20. Yes you get the best in class interior. every touch in the interior feels so premium that you will feel you are siting in a premium sedan.The ac, infotainment system everything worked pretty good. It got really solid built quality Mileage & engine performance- It totally depends on your driving habit. For me in city the worst i got was 9kmpl and best 13kmpl. For highway worst i got 15kmpl and best i got 20kmpl. The figure may be not very good but its pretty descent. Talking about engine , it will feel dead for RPM lower than 1.5K. Literally every other cars i have driven have better initial pickup.But once it touches 2k RPM or you r speeding more than 80 km/hr this car delivers some good amount of thrill. You can easily make 160 km/hr and the car will not even complain a little.The refinement is really good and engine noise is minimal at lower end. At higher end you will hear some but it wont bother you that much. Steering feedback could have been better.Clutch is light to operate no issue on that and the braking is pretty good too. Don't listen about any crap about i20's braking.Gear box is pretty descent to operate also. Others- Boot space/Interior space may not be the best but its pretty descent.You will find lots of spaces to put your watter bottles, phones, goggles , etc.It comes with a rear AC vent and cooled glove box which is a nice touch. After sales- so far i have done the first service which was a free one.But they constantly ask for your car feed back and if there is any problem they really put effort to fix. So summarizing the review- PROS- 1.Good solid built interior and exterior. Awesome design 2.Balanced suspension ensuring very high comfort level. 3.After Sales support is good. 4. Very stable at higher speeds. CONS- 1.Low end torque. 2.Steering feedback. 3.Mileage could have been better.
