Hyundai i20 Sports: Car stops abruptly

All other features are excellent except the following .... I brought a new i 20 Sports ABS Model (Diesel) in 2013 November. While in driving the vehicle stops gradually with decrease in car speed, even when given full acceleration. Most times it happens when changing the gear. Even at first gear the vehicle doesn't moveagain applying full acceleration. Gradually the speed decreases and vehicle comes to a halt.(Engine is not off at that time). It is very dangerous while overtaking a vehicle. Now the vehicle is in showrooms and the total kilometer run is only 13000.00(Thirteen Thousand). The problem persisted right from the begining when I bought this vehicle. After delivery, we go to a long trip and the vehicle was driven by an experienced driver from Kochi. He was having 30 years KSRTC driving experience and had handled all types of vehicle. He is a call driver at Kochi. During the driving the same problem happened and he informed that the vehicle is having some problem while changing gear the vehicle slows down and finally stops. If any of you'll faced similar type of complaint, pls share your experience which may be used for solving the problem.
