Hyundai Getz Prime - My impression after a test drive

for 1.1 GLE

My requirement was to have a small car. I was having Santro Xing and found it very small and you feel cramped inside. So decided to have a change. Lot of research when to in to decide on the car. The factors considered were: 1) Looks - Defintely Getz captured my eye on the first sight compared to any other (Fiat Palio, Ford Ikon, Opel Corsa, Tata Indica, Ford Fusion) 2) Drive comfort - The test drive was very impressive and the space really coool(Tried Swift and found not so impressive as the gear rod is too flimsy and you feel like shifting a truck gear) 3) Interiors - Being an automobile person, looked at interiors a little carefully and found the workman ship in the car excellent and fine to the core (Swift is too noisy inside as it rattles more) 4)Fuel Efficiency - Dealer told me that i would get any where between 12 -14KMPL One are where I was disappointed with Hyundai was the feature List There is no ABS in this car, not even as an optional feature. No climate control No Immobilizer No Air Bags No rear wiper Even Mirror and Door handles are not body color. Overall It is a great car to drive, must go for it if you are not very price sensitive

I have some words to say about a car...............The car is of course the new Getz Prime . What's with this Prime moniker, you ask. Well, look at the pictures closely. Haven't you noticed that the Getz is looking different now? Now what are the major changes then? Not many actually: a set of new headlamps and tail-lamps, a new front air dam/fog lamp setup, a new three-spoke steering wheel, a slight revamp of the center console that houses air vents/stereo/climate controls and a change in the plastic grain finish. And other than some new body colors, the Getz Prime benefits from some extra value-adds like a driver's seat armrest, illuminated glove box, illuminated power window switches and adjustable backrests at the rear. That's more or less it.Finally i love this car!!!!!!!!:)

Very good space, god interiors, stylish. I completely agree with Neha...Midnight grey is bit difficult to maintain. It is unique colour. I have around 4000 km in three month and If you drive at 140KM speed, you wont feel difference with 100 km speed..But fuel economy is not as good as said by neha with my getz prime.
