I Found It Bad In Sedan Category
Look and Style: This is the only section, which I think the Honda City scores best out of all below ones. Comfort: I feel that it is not smooth past the city speeds that is 70kmph, the passengers don't feel safe and secure at high speeds. Pickup: The pickup is good in the mid gears (3-4), but it certainly lags in initial gears. You really need to give stomp on the acceleration in the first gear, if you don't want things to go lousy! Mileage: According to me, it really doesn't matter if you?re buying a sedan of this stature. Best Features: As I?ve already mentioned, the stand-out feature of the Honda City is its looks and road presence. Needs to improve: According to me, the Honda City petrol is using a rather primitive technology ? SOHC. There is a huge difference between SOHC and DOHC. The former, the pickup is very low and lousy compared to the latter. Come on Honda, if you don?t have this tech, then accept it! Or presently you don?t want to offer it in India? Overall Experience: A bad sedan! Hyundai Accent diesel?s pick-up is much better than the City. For me, it is certainly selling at a high price in India with a low level of localisation compared to Hyundai. And because of its primitive tech, it?s not driven in the US.

I think this guy (retaish from hyderabad) is a overall unhappy fellow to be made happy by a Baleno. grow up dude. stop being a snub nose like the nano and grow up
sorry i am not commenting on anybody's perception... i wrote my observation... i like pick-up... even, nano wont give that much pick-up... MagicMike... hope, u know the difference b/w SOHC n DOHC... if u wanna buy honda city buy it... i gave my comment abt it... try diesel car... even if u take a case of petrol engine... hyundai engine technology is far far better than honda... honda hvnt made any progress in last 10 yrs... luk at the record... if luks matter to u... i wud say honda designs are more revolutionary... but, frankly they are 10 yr behind regard to technology... even, u take case of SOHC... drive lancer... u wud know it... dont praise honda city... just coz u bought it... thanks... but... m buying volkswagen passat... hope.. u wont compare it with nano...
Ppl driving Diesel cards like accent crdi / Verna / swift desire will find petrol engine slow and the main difference is in torque in pertol / diesel cars. If anyone looks at the specs will realise, it so compare pertol cars. Honda technology Vtech give more pickup when you need it, hence you need to hit the pedal a bit to get more power and makes up good avg in non vtech mode. I have used Accent / Baleno now using Honda & really Honda is best overall. Noise isolation is really cool no car is as silent as Honda even suspensions / Power steering breaking adds to the fun to drive. Accent I know has hard clutch / brakes / power steering even Baleno is better for Power stearing and brakes, Hyundai made it better in Verna but no Airbag for such a big car. Overall Honda is good in Sedan and yes they just need to increase ground tolerance a bit.
I do not know why is this person so unhappy with such a wonderful car It's suspension and shockers are excellent and at the pickup and manaeverubility is awesome The cabin is very quite and the highway drive at 100 to 110 kph is excellent with a feeling of good control and road grip The only drawback I noticed was the ground clearance and the mileage in city I am using this car from last 10 months and have done 14575 kms and am getting a mileage of 11 in city with ac and 17 kmpl on highway with ac
