Best in class, comfort and technology; worst in service
A completely well designed car by one of the most consummate team of engineers of the world. Truly this is an exemplary car. Best in class, best in mileage, best in space, best in comfort, best in drive, best in performance, best reliability and best in features. Simply the sedan in a range of 8-12 Lakhs; Honda City is just irreplaceable. I bought this car a few months back and i am absolutely happy with the car's performance and engineering. The only flaw that I witnessed was the service. Honda have made a very tedious and a meticulous efforts to make the customers happy by introducing such a machine to the market; but at the same time the efforts made in the service factor is really really worst. The service sector needs to be improved and much more reliable. I have had really a very very bad experience with the effortless service of the Honda. My car met with an accident there was a minor dent on the rear side door. The company's executive told me that whole door needs to be replaced and it will take around 10 days to fix the dent;I agreed to the terms of the person. To follow up I called a couple of times to ensure the delivery by due date. The executive it will take another one week to fix the flaw. About 10 days later I visited the workshop and I was astonished to see that there was no progress made on the car. It was placed as it was "Not even touched". On Further inquiry, I was told that The shipment of the door has not yet arrived and it will take around one more week for the door to arrive. Dissatisfied with the response of the executive, I went directly to the head to of Body shop and discovered that there was no need of replacing the whole door. All this days long they used circumlocution attempt to stall our request for repairing our car at earliest. I had an altercation with the staff of the service center and was promised my delivered within couple of days. Again they failed to meet their dead line and I was forced to revisit their service center. This they promised to deliver the car next day. Finally, I received my car almost 20 days after I claimed my accidental damage. The credibility in the market highly depends upon service and hence reliability increases. I hope that this kind of imprudent behavior will be avoided in the future. There are pons and cons of everything; and I think that service is the biggest flaw and only weak-point of Honda. I am a very big fan of technology and engineering of Honda. I love to drive my city in my city. Cruise control function is one of the most fascinating functions. Keeping in mind the safety of the consumers, each and every variant of city is equipped with ABS and EBD Exteriors and interiors are just phenomenal 510 litres of cargo volume, A 1.5L i-vtec engine with 117 bhp at 450nm torque is simply marvelous. Reviewing a Honda without Honda app is incomplete. A great effort by the makers to guarantee an overall safety for its customers; It is awesome This is a car suited for every age group and class that comes with city is inexplainable. Honda City is just irreplaceable sedan in its segment. However, a little boost in its service will make it a virtuoso of its class. Honda lost rating of 2 just because of its service.
