Honda City my vehicle since last five years
My four year old Honda gives good mileage of 11 km/litre and that too in city with AC. It has returned over 15km/lt. on highways with ease. Cabin space is good enough for mid sized sedan. Boot-space is adequate. Suspension is on hard side. You can tell on what type of road surface you are on. Independent rear suspension would have been better as in Civic. Tubeless tyres disappointed as all them needed replacement even before 25,000 km. They could easily puncture and leak very often. It was difficult to maintain pressure to 30/32 psi (as recommended) because just after 5-6 days, tyre pressure dropped to 20psi. I owned Esteem earlier that had MRF tyres (with tube} which were good even after clocking 45,000 km as I sold the car. Drivability of Honda is not that great as the car has been designed to be economical and performance has been compromised for the same. Visibilty on turning right is poor because thick ?A? pillar is not meant for narrow and congested roads. My experience regarding service is again not upto the mark, rather poor with Honda. You have to go to workshop many times to get a job done. Even a simple job opening takes an hour. Getting invoice and payment of bill need another hour. Previously, I had Esteem for five years and was very much satisfied overall and with the service too.
