Took the delivery of my ford figo-lxi petrol about a month back from caculo ford verna goa. i chose the squeeze color. the dealer service is very good, much better than the hyundai one which is 50 meters away!  the ford dealer was not giving any dicount besides the coperate one, though he suddenly gave me free mats and mudguard when i made the booking. Look and Style when the figo was launched idint feel the car looked good,but when i went for a test drive i kind of liked the cars looks. its got a distinct look from the front and back. although you cannot cmpare the beat! Comfort here is where the figo does very well. its got great space in the front as well as the rear. 5 people can easily fit in the figo. long drives are really pleasant. The lack of rear head rest does cause some discomfort but its manageble. the suspension is quite good but there is a slight stiffness in the ride. figo has got a much smoother ride as compared to the i10 n beat. it handles way better than a swift.  i hear a lot of complains on some blogs about the car scrapping speed breakers with a small load, thats not true in my case. i drove with my mom and dad at the back and not even once did the car touch the ground.  Pickup after driving my dads indigo and honda city for few years i find the pickup to be good till about the 100mark,after that it does feel breathless. however its a good engine. Mileage here is where most car buyers will be skeptical about. the tested mileage is 12.5 in city n 15.5 on the highway but i managed to get  about 13 in city with the ac on. however when i switch off the ac i get about 14 in the city and 17.7 on the highway. i have so far covered 987km. the ac compressor is a power sucker!!! its the cause for the figos low mileage. if u wont be using the ac regularly then the mileage is quite good. Best Features i got the base version which does not have all the features but found it better equiped than the base wagon r which is at the same price. the dashboard does look good as compared to the swift Needs to improve maybe ford could have kept a normal ac compressor which would help in increasing the mileage. back head rest could have been added. a slightly more fun engine could have been made to rival the ritz and the swifts! Overall Experience after test driving the wagon r, ritz and the beat i found the figo to strike a balance between quality,power,comfort and handling the figo is a great car if one wants a good family car with good comfort,ride, stability n features in the 4 to 5 lakh range. after sale service seems to be great as what i have heard from other figo owners. spare parts are priced quite reasonably. the figo is certainly value for money.
