Long term ownership review of My Figo tdci

Look and Style: I personally love the introductory model of Figo. It's a mix of decent look and aggressiveness on the front. The side profile is very stylish and no other Indian hatchback has such a shape and it looks complete and has a flawless design. The fenders add a typical muscular look of FORD. Rear look is very cute and soothing to look at. Comfort: Here I can give the Figo 9 out of 10. 1 mark deduction for the low GC, otherwise it has superb driving dynamics, seats are made of quality material. There is no body roll absolutely even in high-speed cornering, which make long drives refreshing. It has an adequate legroom and shoulder room. 4 people can go for long drives very easily, to fit 5 it may feel little uncomfortable. Front door gets power window, but rear door lacks in it, it's a negative point. Pickup: Pick up is good. you feel minimum turbo lag in diesel and u quickly get adapted to it and after that the pickup feels like you are driving a petrol car. You won't feel any hassles regarding pickup in the city roads but on highways with AC on, some more punch would have been better for overtaking long vehicles. Mileage: Here it gets 10 out of 10. I have driven about 60K kms in 4 yrs and there is no drop in mileage even a bit. I am getting 18.8 kmpl with 70% city drives with AC whenever needed. On highways, I get about 23 kmpl and for mileage I have no complaints at all. Best Features: The hydraulic steering is bliss to drive, the suspension is very good, integrated music system with Bluetooth connectivity is very convenient, also the remote boot opening feature. Boot gets a light too, that's important while using the boot at nights or early morning. Boot space is also huge in the segment with 280-litre capacity, it takes ur and ur friends luggage happily inside. Needs to improve: The headlights need to improve, little more GC without compromising on body roll and some more bhp and torque under the hood would make it a winner from every aspect. Overall Experience: I am a totally satisfied owner of my Figo TDCi. It's cheap to maintain and bliss to ride.
