I have purchased ford figo petrol version titanium and the car has the following problems Even after removing the start/ignition Key (after switching off the engine) Cooling fan remains rotating in high speed. Very less mileage -not economical Many a times car bottom hits the road hump due to less clearance While getting inside the car be careful of your head hitting the door hub Not a good design ?i want sell back with discount -only 2 months old car......contact 09448843207

i am satisfied with the interior and feel of the car.power and good pick up even in air conditoned conditon.but fuel efficiency is extremely low. it gives only 8km/l on city roads with air conditioning where as company assures u of 15.5km/l It has only covered 1 month with me.and i am satisfied with the good quality stereo speakers. But one con is that other than the titanium they do not mention the model on the reverse of the car

Hi If the fan is on when the ignition is off, please remember it is the way the electronics that kick in to ensure that the engine cools down sufficiently. This is not a problem but a strategy used to ensure the longevity of the engine. Why does it bother you so much ? Second, the mileage of a car is directly related to the driving style. As I understand, everybody on the road thinks they are the best drivers on the road... wonder why when they are unable to comprehend the basic understanding that pertains to good driving and very easily blame the manufacturer... standard indian operating procedure of passing the buck ! Try driving a car that a given owner claims on high efficiency and compute the mileage that you get. The result might surprise you ! Cheers and have a great day. I apologize if I upset you or other readers with my blunt answer. Do you know the best drivers on the Indian roads are the truck drivers that we curse ! Ever wonder why, we just cannot accept that a truck driver is a better driver than we are.

This was an issue with me initially as well. Running fan indicates that your engine is warm up (due to in efficent driving or otherwise).Once I adjust to driving this problem vanishes. I am getting 10.8 kmpl.

I want to buy a Figo EXI..Any suggestions or alarming alerts..

    CarDekho Team |26 Nov,2010 09:44:48 AM

The Figo is selling very well in the segment. The EXi is powered by an efficient 1.2 litre petrol engine, its well built and after sales is much better now for Ford cars. We advise you to also check out the Diesel version of the Figo before making up your mind cause this is the pick of the lot. Thanks, CarDekho Team
