I had purchased Fiat Grande Punto, Diesel variant last year in Exotica Red color and am extremely happy with the performance and fuel economy the car has offered me. With diesel cars we are generally worried about the acceleration and pick-up, but believe me the 1.3L, 1248cc, Multijet, VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharged) diesel engine, gives an amazing pick-up and is comfortable to drive even at a speed of 120 kmph on highways. While in city I get an average of 14kmpl and on highways its around 19kmpl. The interiors are funky and stylish- seems there is a young designer behind it. The red colored display with white dials is trendy and the dashboard is neat with easy to reach controls, one feature you would actually love once sitting inside. One thing I instantaneously fell for- was the bold, masculine, aggressive looks outside and trendy, stylish, peppy looks and features inside: Very thoughtful!!!! The car comes equipped with an advanced integrated MP3 Audio System with an in-built USB port to connect equipments like pen-drive, mobile phone or iPod taking entertainment to the next level and is a need of the hour. I have to mention the powerful Air-conditioner with climate control giving a feel good and at home drive. Be assured and carefree about your safety with ABS,central locking, child lock, Power Door Locks, Airbags, Anti-Theft Alarm, Front and Side Impact Beams, Front and Rear Seat Belts, Seat Belts Warning all in place and working. For today's cities and requirements Punto certainly offers a niche and is a complete value for money. I believe with Grande Punto on road, Fiat would give tough competition to its contemporaries. As a customer am really happy and want to pass the satisfaction on.
