Look and Style its nice to see its interiors which are the best in this segment car. Comfot its ok.not upto the mark Pickup it has the poorest pick up.hyundai i10 is far better in pik up Mileage not more than 10 in the city. Best Features (( interiors)) Needs to improve pick up and average. Overall Experience i am not happy with my chevy..

I m not agree! i10 is cheap in design compare to Beat and never more in mileage too I dont think you are Owner of Beat...I guess you are i10 promoter Agreed only new kappa2 i10 is good car but Beat is not less in anything compare to i10 i10 is not stable on highways above 120kmph due to its light weight unlike Beat.Regding mileage I am gettting 17km/ltr in city and 20 km/ltr on highways...also pickup not at all bad..its powerful too at high rpm...check pick up software upgrades at chevy service station using mdb tool

Dear User, We would like to inform you that no doubt Chevrolet Beat is a good car in parallel to Beat you can opt for Tata Indica Vista and Maruti Ritz can be good alternatives in your buget range. Tata Indica is also available on T-permit if your want to use it for commercial use. Thanks

@CarDekho Team, I'm about to buy Beat LT from Kolkata. And I want to attach one bluetooth enabled navigation system along with rear view camera. But what i learned that if at all I attach this accessory it will be retractable and whenever I leave car I need to carry the device along with me (a precautionary measure for theft). And as I learned BEAT's rearview is not so good, so this camera option I thought of is quite wise I suppose. So my question is, is it worth buying such a device which I need to carry in my pocket whenever I leave car? Because price for this complete package is not very low..so I need to know the pros and cons clearly before opting for this.

Firstly your choice of getting the Chevy Beat is a good one , no second thoughts on that. The Beat is an hot seller in the segment plus it has the 3 year service warranty that other companies cant match. Comming to the GPS and rear camera question, well you get music systems that have inbuilt reverse camera and GPS all in one you can very well go for one of those models which should suffice your needs. Thanks, CarDekho Team

@CarDekho Team: I am interested in buying Chevy Beat LPG LT. I am also in need of the option pack (ABS, Air bag etc). Whether Beat LPG LT comes with option pack?

Dear car dekho, i would like to buy a beat lpg, can u plz tell me the performance of this car, particularly about pickup, mileage, suspension.i am planning to buy this car in soon. can u suggest me to for beat lpg or not .

  • CarDekho Team |28 Feb,2011 05:03:57 PM

The Beat LPG gets the all new Smart-tec 1.2litre petrol engine while the suspension and other technicalities remain the same. There is no performance drop on the LPG Beat as compared to the regular Beat thanks to the advanced LPG kit that it runs on. Look out for this space when we have a full road test of the Chevrolet Beat soon. Thanks, CarDekho Team

  • sasi ram reddy |01 Mar,2011 02:56:32 AM

Thanks to car dekho team, i have one more doubt that beat petrol comes with new smart-tec engine or old one. if it comes with new engine , whats the changes in the new engine. I am planning to buy in soon na. plz reply me

YAHOOO... I BOUGHT A NEW BEAT AND IT ROCKS

  • Texan |25 Jun,2011 09:58:55 PM

Guys, Chevy in terms of technology or performance is the best across the world. Let it be Spark or Beat or the Captiva, they are all high end technology driven cars but what Chevrolet lacks in India is service. The service network is poor and most of the dealers run the centers with their own conduct instead of GM's conduct. Till the time your car is in warranty you are borne forcefully by the dealer once out of warranty you are in their hands if you rely upon them for maintenance and service. The service is pathetic and GM does nothing about it. They have hired illiterate people in these service shops who dont even know the utility of the electronic diagnostics, hence, they end up screwing your vehicle. So, guys dont go with Chevy vehicles at this time. FOR INDIA Maruti still rocks. Hyundai has also developed as a customer centric brand but i aint convinced much with huyndai. I own a Chevy Optra 1.8 LT n a Spark 1.0LT but never recommended any of my circle to buy a Chevy since my purchase. Source(s): Personal experience at various dealerships in India of Chevy.

I AM PLANNING TO BUY A CAR. I HAVE SEEN QUITE A FEW AND GONE FOR TEST DRIVE ALSO. I LIKED THE LOOK OF CHEVROLET BEAT...THEERE IS AN ATTITUDE! I LIKED THE INTERIOR AS WELL. THE CAR IS VERY COMFORTABLE. I HAVE ONLY TWO QUESTIONS - HOW'S THE RESELLING VALUE? AND HOW'S THW MILEAGE AND SERVICE COST? I KNOW GM IS A NEW PLAYER AND THEY HAVE STARTED SELLING THEIR CARS WELL. MARUTI CAR ARE IN DEMAND AND THAT'S WHY THE RESELLING VALUE IS GOOD. SO CHEVY RESELLING PRICE WILL ALSO BE GOOD IN THE YEARS AHEAD.
