Under the bonnet, the Bentley Continental GTC houses a powerful and dynamic 6.0-litre twin turbocharged W12 configuration engine . This mill is capable of delivering a peak output of 567bhp at the rate of 6000 rpm along with producing a maximum torque of 700Nm at the rate of 1700 rpm. This robust engine has been coupled with an 8-speed ZF transmission along with steering column-mounted gearshift paddles . This combination makes the performance of the car top-notch. Braking and handling
Bentley Continental GTC sports a very responsive and advanced braking system. This convertible sports car comes with vented iron front and rear disc brakes with Bentley brand brake calipers in gloss black finish . Enhancing this, the ESP (Electronic Stability Programme), ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistance), aquaplane detection and MSR (Drag Torque Control) are also present. The electronic parking brake with drive away assist is idyllic. Coming to the handling of the car, it has been enhanced by a sophisticated suspension system. This comprises of four link double wishbones, computer controlled self-leveling air suspension with anti-roll bar for the front and trapezoidal multi-link computer controlled self-leveling air suspension with anti-roll bar for the rear. The 20-inch alloy wheels further amplify the overall handling and riding quality of the GTC.
Comfort Features
The comfort level in the Bentley Continental GTC is utterly impressive. The combination of comfort and technology makes the car increasingly relaxing and delightful. The infotainment system of this car has a 30GB hard drive that offers up to 15 GB of storage space for mapping data and music. To enhance it further, the system comes with iPod, Mp3 player connectivity along with an optional 6-disc CD changer. The Balanced Mode Radiator speakers strive to provide the occupants with a fantastic music experience. The slim design power adjustable front seats with heating, lumbar, nose extension and memory functions are fabulous, while the drivers seat has 14-way adjustment functions.
