The Honda City and Volkswagen Vento are different in features, engine and price as follows: Engine:
Volkswagen Vento loaded with 1598cc Diesel and Petrol power mill which lays out an impressive power of 105 bhp at 5250 rpm and a thumping torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm for the petrol engine and 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm for the diesel engine.
The new Honda City is equipped with 1.5L, 1497cc, i-VTEC petrol engine with the 5-speed manual transmission gearbox that is able to produce 118PS power @ 6600rpm and 14.9Kg-m torque @ 4600rpm.
Diesel engine Volkswagen Veto delivers average mileage of 15.8 kmpl in city and 20.5kmpl on highway and Petrol engine car delivers average mileage of 11.2 kmpl in city and 15.8 kmpl on highway.
Honda city EMT, VMT and SMT delivers average mileage of 14.0 kmpl in city and 17.0 kmpl on high way meanwhile VAT variant gives mileage of 11.2kmpl in city and 15.8 kmpl on highway.
Volkswagen Veto is available in 5 variants in total viz., diesel Trendline & Highline, petrol Trendline & Highline MT and AT.
Honda City is available is available in four variants which are Honda City 1.5 E MT, Honda City 1.5 S MT, Honda City 1.5 V MT,Honda City 1.5 V AT.
All the variant of Vento has price range of between Rs 7.02 lakh to Rs 9.28 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). and
All four variant of City has price range of between Rs 8.13 lakh to Rs 9.77 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
