The Etios is the smallest of the three cars and the cheapest too while the Verna is the newest and the freshest of the three as it is just launched. The Etios is the best car for someone who wants a Petrol sedan in the range of 6 to 8lakhs while the Vento is for someone who needs best in class fit and finish and a very comfortable ride quality, the Verna is for them who want loads of equipment levels and a wide array of engine options to choose from, the Verna also has best in class after sales service and low maintenance.

Both Toyota Etios and Swift Dzire are good options, while the Etios has space, Swift certainly has a powerful engine, better interiors and after sales services. The Dzire also enjoys better resale value.
