The acceleration of Tata Manza is totally dependent on the power, torque and transmission gearbox. The all new Tata Indigo Manza is packed with C 549, 5 +1 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox. Tata Manza comes in both petrol (Safire) and diesel (Quadrajet) engine.

The petrol version of Tata Manza is packed with 1368 cc engine displacement with MPFI fuel injection system. This fuel injection system is very fuel efficient and provides great performance. The petrol engine is packed with Intelligent Port resizing. This petrol engine produces a power of 90 PS and a torque of 116 Nm. This highly powered engine offers excellent acceleration and crosses the barrier of 100 km in just a span of 14 seconds with a top speed of 165 kmph, which is considered to be a great performer in Indian roads.

The Diesel version of Tata Manza is packed with 1248cc engine which is packed with CRDI fuel supply system. This system offers a very smooth and excellent driving experience without any sound and vibration even at high speed. This highly powered diesel engine produces a power of 90 PS and a torque of 200 Nm, and offers an impressive acceleration by covering 10 kms in just 15.6 seconds and a top speed of 164.2 kmph.
