Hi Kaushik,

Before April, 2010, the engine of cars were according to the BS-III norms, now all the new cars manufactured are as per BS-IV norms which is stricter engine emission norms . These norms make the engine give good mileage with little carbon fumes and are silent too, so the new engine is more eco friendly than old.
So now Tata Indica Vista comes with BS-IV engine.
