I'm planning to buy a hatch back, i want something that is really punchy or something that an enthusiast would love to drive. i'm confused between Bolt and Swift.
please help me with these two or maybe suggest me some other hot hatch available in the market. (petrol engine is more preferable)
I will prefer BOLT over Swift as it is a new Technology revetron engine & best in class CONNECTNEXTTT

Volkswagen Polo GT TSI is the best hot hatch present in India and the most advanced too. It gets a 1.2 litre petrol motor that belts out 103.6 bhp of power and is mated to an advanced 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Moreover, it gets class leading acceleration and top speed figures. On the downside, it is costlier than others, 8.2 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi) but gets a reasonable fuel economy of 17.21kmpl.
Just like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire, Tata Zest and Bolt also share the platform and most of the features. Interestingly, the diesel engine in all four these cars is the same Fiat sourced 1.3-litre Multijet. However, Zest gets it in two power options 75PS and 90PS. So, if we compare the performance Zest has an upper hand with its 90PS diesel engine. Zest's 1.2 Revotron petrol is also more powerful and Swift's and as it comes with three different power modes it has a further advantage. Both Zest and Bolt are also more feature rich than Maruti Twins. However, the Swifts get advantage at ride & handling and overall fit and finish. Maruti Suzuki's after sales service and unmatchable resale value also go in Swift twin's favour.
The Tata Bolt is expected to be launched in India after Tata Motors have launched the Zest in the Indian market. You could expect the Bolt to hit the Indian markets in the last quarter of this year, may be around the festive season.
