Answers for this Question

The automatic W6 variants in Mahindra are Mahindra XUV500 AT W6 1.99 MHawk and Mahindra XUV500 AT W6 2WD. Both of these are diesel variants whereas Hyundai Creta 1.6 VTVT AT SX Plus is petrol automatic.

Comparing these two in terms of engine specification will be unfair for the petrol variant car as the diesel car is more superior than petrol. Mahindra XUV500 AT W6 1.99 MHawk and Mahindra XUV500 AT W6 2WD is equipped with 2.0 litre engine and 2.2 litre engine which is more powerful and torquier than 1.6 litre petrol engine of Hyundai.

When it comes to features, Hyundai trumps both the Mahindra's. Creta has a wide range of extra features when compared to Mahindra, be it comfort and convenience or the safety of passengers.

As you have mentioned that the daily running of your vehicle will be 500 kms/month, so, we suggest you to buy the petrol car as it will be more economical when it comes to its running cost or maintenance.
