You can go for the Maruti A Star automatic or the Hyundai i10 automatic. Both are good options in the small automatic car segment.

  • Baleno 1.2 Zeta or Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2 ?

Published On :2017-01-16 06:03:19.0 By Arun

It is hard to pick one out of the cars that you have selected. Both cars are quite nice to drive and compete neck to neck with each other. i20 has got some extra comfort features like glove box cooling, Air Quality Control and rear AC vents in Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2 . On the other front Baleno has ABS, EBD and dual airbags which are standard across all the variants. Baleno is lighter as compared to i20 which helps it to attain higher speed in less amount of time. i20 on the other hand is heavy and is quite confident to drive over turns. Our pick here would be Baleno as it is fresh and also is easy to maintain. On top of that, it offers you better fuel economy. Click here to check out the comparison.

  • I am confused between Duster AWD and safari storme varicor 400 4x4. Which of the two is more fun to drive ? also what is the real life mieage of both the cars.

Published On :2017-01-14 13:35:06.0 By Arun

Both cars are great, Duster is compact, less powerful and short in height hence is easier to maneuver in traffic. Due to the less power that it generates, it is also more fuel efficient. On the other front, Safari is massive, it has a bigger engine, it is bigger is dimensions and hence, is less fuel efficient. In order to choose one out of these, you need to look at the conditions you would drive your car in. If you are going to drive mostly in cities, go for Duster as it is more "Car" like and if that is not the case, go for Safari. Safari would not be a good choice if you drive mostly in traffic as it hefty and massive and therefore, it isn't easy to maneuver it. When we drove them, we got about 13 KMPL by Duster and 10.4 KMPL by Safari. Click here to take a quick look at the features on offer.

  • I am looking forward to buy a Renault duster Petrol RxL. I couldn't find any useful reviews for the petrol version , the diesel has many. Going for the petrol one due to the post 10 year de-registration of diesel vehicles in Delhi. Any insights regarding the petrol version will be helpful.

Personally, I'd pick the diesel over the petrol. The petrol not only feels under-powered, but isn't too fuel efficient either. Moreover, since it isn't available in the top trims, it misses out on most feel-good features such as touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control. Also, it skips out on the passenger airbag which we think is a big negative. Talking about the engine performance and drive It's smooth, and relatively quiet. Gets the job done inside the city easily. Clutch is light, but travel is still slightly long. On the highway, you get the feeling that it is under-powered..
