Answers for this Question
All three cars are 7-Seater, while the Ertiga is a family car, the other two are proper offroading vehicle. So, it depends on you for which one you want to go if your preference is a more powerful offroader go for XUV500 or if you want a family car, which returns a decent mileage go for Ertiga.

    Verdict:

Both the siblings are backed by Maruti Suzuki’s after-sales network and support. The Ignis’s design makes it stand out, but it may not appeal to everyone. The cabin is spacious and practical for four adults whereas the Swift name has gained its popularity for all the right reasons. It’s a stylish, easy and fun to drive hatchback and feels quite well made too.

The only drawback is it’s average cabin space and boot volume, which mean it isn’t the most practical car in the segment. It is best suited to individual buyers or small families with young children.

We would suggest you to take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.

It's good to hear that you wish to buy a car & thank you for making us a part of it.

    Please find highlights of Nexon.

    1. The top-of-the-line Tata Nexon gets features like 6.5-inch ‘ConnectNext’ HD touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, multiple drive modes (Eco, City and Sport), projector headlamps with daytime running lights, an 8-speaker sound system (4 speakers + 4 tweeters) and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.

    2. Safety features in the Nexon include dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts and ABS with EBD and CSC (corner stability control) as standard.

    3. It comes with 1.5-litre Turbo Charged Diesel Engine (108.5bhp / 260Nm) & 1.2-litre Turbo Charged Engine (108.5bhp / 170Nm).

    4. The Tata Nexon delivers a claimed mileage of 17kmpl for the petrol variant and 21.5kmpl for the diesel trims.

Coming to the query, Tata’s debut sub-4m SUV gets a turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with a standard 6-speed manual. It is all new engine & has been added for the first time. Both have been developed by Tata in-house, and while the petrol engine is exactly a turbocharged version of the Tigor’s engine, the diesel engine is completely new.

This has to be Tata’s best diesel engine till date, and it can very well be considered one of the better diesel engines in the compact car space.

The Nexon gets three drives modes – Sport, Eco and City, and all the three vary the character of the engine so much so that you can actually make use of them wisely. So, you need to worry about it & can place your hard-earned money on it.

It not only undercuts its direct rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Ford EcoSport, but also popular cross-hatches like the Honda WR-V and the Hyundai i20 Active.

If you will be driving around 50-70kms.(Approx.) a day, we will suggest you to go with diesel variant. Otherwise, if your driving will be less, than you can opt for petrol variant.

  • Hi, I want you to help me choose in buying between Hyundai Elite i20 (ASTA 1.2), FORD Figo ASPIRE (TITANIUM PLUS), FORD Figo Sports edition, TATA Nexon (XM). Here special consideration to be taken is I will be driving most of the time of rough roads so the suspension should be good.

Thank you for considering us worthy enough to address your concern & writing to us.

All the options you've selected are indeed awesome & stand apart in their own way.

Hyundai Elite i20 is a all-rounder product which has a fantastic exterior styling. It now comes with an updated list of features and choice of dual-tone body colours as well.

Ford Aspire is very well designed sub-4 metre sedan which offers good driveability and long list of features. The Sports Edition Aspire comes with a retuned suspension setup for better handling and stability.

The Ford Figo makes for a nice city commuter. Not so long ago, Ford introduced the Sportier ‘S’ version of the hatchback, the Ford Figo S, in April 2017. The Ford Figo Sports features a retuned suspension setup and bigger tyres for relatively better handling and stability, while mechanically, it remains the same. Also on offer are go-fast aesthetic additions such as a new mesh grill, dual-tone paint schemes, decals and red interior upholstery stitching and leather wrapped steering wheel.

The feature list of Tata Nexon is on par with its immediate rivals, and there are clever touches (like the umbrella holder and the activity key) that make it stand out. Add to the mix the torquey diesel engine, and the generous cabin/boot space it also has eye-catching design.

    Verdict:

Compared to the earlier version, the Elite i20 is a step up in terms of ride quality and comfort. Taking on potholes and broken roads is easy as long as you stick to low speeds. The suspension is compliant and isn’t bouncy any more.

For the ford product (Figo / Aspire) the suspension is set on the softer side. It is tuned for comfort which lets the Ford soak in the bumps easily. That said, the rear passengers get thrown about quite a bit over broken roads and the electronic power steering is almost too light by Ford standards.

The Nexon gets McPherson struts up front and a twist beam setup at the rear. The ride is a nice compromise between hard and soft and because there’s not much body roll, it feels plush on the inside. It deals with potholes in the manner of bigger SUVs. So all you feel inside is a toned down thud and a little vertical movement that settles down pretty quick.

To sum up, we would suggest you to pick for Ford Figo or Tata Nexon.

We also recommend you to take a test drive before making a final call.
