Answers for this Question
Hi Nitin, In AT (automatic transmission), the car uses a motor driven transmission, which can automatically change the gear ratios as the car moves. while in Manual transmission we have to change gear manually.

The MT (manual transmission) is more fuel economical as compare to the AT , and manual transmission is capable of providing increased fuel economy of up to 10 to 15 percent as compare to the AT. In MT the driver has more direct control on vehicle as compare to the AT.

But at the same time in AT you don't have to depend on driver's skills as the gears changes automatically. With this, in MT there is more work load on driver in heavy traffic conditions as handling a car with AT is much easier in these conditions.
So its totally depends on your driving behavior and requirements for choosing a particular transmission type.
