What is your opinion Siddharth ji-------(Cars with DPFs have some kind of purge program they clean the DPF when the back pressure gets too high by injecting extra fuel and incinerating it but it does not have the opportunity to run that if ALL you do is trips to the shops and back, so eventually you have to pay for a new DPF, or to get it cleaned. If you are taking the occasional decent weekend trip there is no worries.)

If you want go for Storme, you won't get a choice for petrol , however the point is baseless that it affects the engine if you drive a diesel car lesser. Go for your dream car and enjoy driving it

You should buy a petrol car rather than a diesel car as there are two major points you should keep in mind. Firstly diesel cars are a bit hard to maintain in comparison to a diesel car. Secondly diesel cars are a bit costly than petrol cars and if you drive 500 kms in a month then it will take a lot of time to payback the difference. Rest, you know better what you want and what you require. So keep these two things in your mind and take your decision. And By the way, Very very congratulations for your new car in advance. :) Regards, Siddharth
