How is diesel car model and Petrol car model of same car (lets say Nissan Micra) over the year stands in terms of cost. Lets say after 10 year / 100000 Miles on each car how much would be maintenance cost on either car if kept under similar condition and

it's to deficult to say because after 10years we don't know how many car's came in the market and customer change is mind and sell his old Nissan micra and buy another car or else it's depend on the coustomers use if his driving is safe then no more expens comes in next five to ten years

In a diesel car maintains cost is high but a petrol car maintains is low

Hi Sameer,
The maintenance cost of diesel engine equipped cars fall much higher when compared to their petrol counterparts in a longer term. However, there is no fixed criteria of calculating the maintenance cost of a car, as it totally depends on the driving habits of a particular user.
