We are providing the perfect comparison between all the models where you can check the perfect differences. It will help you to choose the best one in your budget. Renault Scala has much more appealing looks than the Nissan Sunny. The sleeker front fascia, alloy wheels and chrome spattering will appeal to the Indian customer. The Scala also gets leather seats. But with hardly any other features to justify the premium the Scala will charge over the Sunny, Renault will have to come up with a solid marketing campaign to get its numbers up. You can't stretch the caaaaaaar too far. Time to windup the discussion; we rate Skoda Rapid to be a more value for money car especially with its alluring looks, features and power. Nissan Sunny comes second with competitive pricing and excellent interiors while VW Vento has to settle down for the last position.
It is hard to pick one out of the cars that you have selected. Both cars are quite nice to drive and compete neck to neck with each other. i20 has got some extra comfort features like glove box cooling, Air Quality Control and rear AC vents in Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2 . On the other front Baleno has ABS, EBD and dual airbags which are standard across all the variants. Baleno is lighter as compared to i20 which helps it to attain higher speed in less amount of time. i20 on the other hand is heavy and is quite confident to drive over turns. Our pick here would be Baleno as it is fresh and also is easy to maintain. On top of that, it offers you better fuel economy. Click here to check out the comparison.
Both cars are great, Duster is compact, less powerful and short in height hence is easier to maneuver in traffic. Due to the less power that it generates, it is also more fuel efficient. On the other front, Safari is massive, it has a bigger engine, it is bigger is dimensions and hence, is less fuel efficient. In order to choose one out of these, you need to look at the conditions you would drive your car in. If you are going to drive mostly in cities, go for Duster as it is more "Car" like and if that is not the case, go for Safari. Safari would not be a good choice if you drive mostly in traffic as it hefty and massive and therefore, it isn't easy to maneuver it. When we drove them, we got about 13 KMPL by Duster and 10.4 KMPL by Safari. Click here to take a quick look at the features on offer.
Personally, I'd pick the diesel over the petrol. The petrol not only feels under-powered, but isn't too fuel efficient either. Moreover, since it isn't available in the top trims, it misses out on most feel-good features such as touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control. Also, it skips out on the passenger airbag which we think is a big negative. Talking about the engine performance and drive It's smooth, and relatively quiet. Gets the job done inside the city easily. Clutch is light, but travel is still slightly long. On the highway, you get the feeling that it is under-powered..
Both of them belong to different segments. You will be able to purchase the base variant of Brezza in the price of the top end KUV 1OO. If features are something that you look forward to, you should go for KUV 1OO and if rigidity and better space is something that you are looking for, you should choose Brezza.
